Check: did the week advance in EA → has a sync run (manual on free) → is the connection healthy → what’s the sync timestamp.
“The site’s a week behind” is the most common report, and it’s usually timing. Run this quick checklist.
Check, in order
- Did the week actually advance in EA? FranchiseHuddle only imports completed weeks — if the franchise hasn’t advanced, there’s nothing new to pull.
- Has a sync run since? On paid, wait for the next scheduled sync. On free, someone has to trigger a manual sync — free leagues don’t update on their own.
- Is the EA connection healthy? If it’s expired, sync is paused until you reconnect. See EA connection failed or expired.
- Check the sync timestamp. Your sync history shows the last successful sync, so you know exactly how current the data is.
Why there’s sometimes a gap
Sync runs on a cadence, not the instant you advance, so a short delay between finishing a week and seeing it on the site is normal — especially on free, where updates only happen when someone clicks sync.
Fast rule: advanced in EA → connection healthy → a sync has run. If all three are true and it’s still behind, that’s when to reach out.
Still behind?
If you’ve advanced, the connection’s healthy, and a sync has run but the data’s still stale, email [email protected] with your league name and the week you’re expecting. See also the fuller Sync troubleshooting guide in Connecting EA & Sync.
