Self-updating Discord
A Discord that runs the league without a bot wrangler.
The FranchiseHuddle bot posts scores, matchups, standings and recaps on its own, spins up weekly channels, and answers 44 slash commands — so your server stays alive between advances instead of going quiet.
Everything inside
Every capability & convenience.
44 slash commands
/standings, /schedule, /scoreboard, /team, /player, /roster, /cap, /leaders, /topplayers, /injuries, /trades, /rankings, /matchup, /nextgame, /playoffs, /champions, /tournament, /pickem, /superlatives, /awards, /streaks, /record, /compare, /suspensions, /news, /recap, /kickoff, /advance-time, /results, /online, /join, /claim, /myteam — and more. /help lists all forty-four.
Auto weekly channels
A fresh weekly category with per-matchup channels is created every advance, so trash talk and highlights have a home and last week's clutter is archived.
Auto-posted scoreboards
Every final from the latest completed week posts itself to the server — nobody has to type out results.
One-click /join onboarding
A new member runs /join and claims an open team in a single step — no forms, no manual role assignment.
Claim a team
/claim ties a Discord member to the team they run, so mentions, trade votes, and matchup channels know who's who.
Team & player cards
/team and /player return rich embeds — records, cap space, ratings, dev traits, injuries — straight in chat.
Trade vote buttons
Proposed trades post with vote buttons so the league approves or vetoes right there, no side channel.
Account linking
/link connects a member's Discord to their FranchiseHuddle account for permissions and notifications.
Nicknames follow the team
Claim a club and your server nickname becomes "Jeff - Commanders" within the minute; give it up and the suffix comes off. One toggle for the whole league.
Join-in-game reminders
Claimed a team on the site but not in the console yet? The bot @mentions you in #reminders once a week until the export shows you in — and the app says so on your Home.
A scheduling thread per game
Every matchup on the slate gets its own thread with both owners pinged. Agree a time in it and the app picks it up; when the game finals the thread archives itself.
Lock a kickoff from chat
/kickoff "thurs 9pm et" locks your game's time without hunting for its thread. A time with no timezone is never guessed at.
Set the advance time
Commissioners run /advance-time "sun 8pm et" and the whole league is told — the week's post quotes it from then on.
Post the big results
/results puts the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl or the rookie draft board in the channel.
The server updates itself
Most league Discords are a graveyard of "did the week advance yet?" FranchiseHuddle posts the scoreboard, opens the matchup channels, and drops the recaps on its own — so the server is where the league actually happens, not where people ask what happened.
Onboarding in one command
A newcomer types /join, picks an open team, and they're in — claimed, roled, and pinged in their matchup channel. The commissioner never has to hand-assign anything.
Forty-four commands, zero memorising
/help lists the whole surface, and every command answers with a clean embed. Standings, a player card, the injury report, the latest trades — all a slash away, for everyone in the league.
Your league is two minutes from running itself.
