Commissioner result overrides
Settle no-shows and disputes cleanly, in the open.
When a game needs a ruling — a no-show, a forfeit, a dispute — the commissioner can force a result or record a forfeit against FranchiseHuddle's standings and records. The imported score is left untouched, the reason posts to Discord, and every forced result wears a badge.
Everything inside
Every capability & convenience.
Force a result
Award a win or record a forfeit when a game cannot be played straight — the standings and records reflect the ruling without anyone editing a spreadsheet.
The score stays honest
An override changes FranchiseHuddle's records, never the imported score. The EA sync is read-only, so the original result is preserved right alongside the ruling.
Clearly badged
Every forced win or forfeit wears a badge in the app, so nobody mistakes a ruling for a result that was actually played.
Reason posted to Discord
The commissioner's reason posts to the server automatically, so the whole league sees why the call was made.
No-shows, settled
When an owner ghosts a matchup, a forfeit closes it out cleanly instead of leaving the week — and the standings — stuck.
It names the no-show
FranchiseHuddle reads the game's Discord thread and tells you who never replied — "they never answered across 14 messages" — and preselects them, so the obvious call is one click. It shows the count behind it, and never rules on its own.
Fair about who was quiet
Both owners talking and just not landing on a time reads as exactly that, not a no-show. Neither is blamed for a thread nobody opened, and an unclaimed club is never the one at fault.
Transparent by default
Overrides are logged and announced, so rulings happen in daylight instead of in the commissioner's DMs.
Rulings in daylight
No-shows and disputes are where leagues get ugly — usually in private DMs nobody else sees. FranchiseHuddle puts the ruling in the open: the commissioner forces the result, the reason posts to Discord, and the app badges it, so the whole league sees the call and the why behind it.
Evidence, not a verdict
Deciding a forfeit a week later means reconstructing from memory who had been ignoring the thread. FranchiseHuddle reads it for you and reports what it found — who posted, how much, and who never did — then leaves the ruling where it belongs. A commissioner about to hand someone a loss should be able to see why.
An override, not a rewrite
The imported score is never touched — an override adjusts FranchiseHuddle's standings and records and clearly labels them as a ruling. The read-only sync means the real result is always there underneath, so a forced win can never be confused with a played one.
