Self-scheduling matchups

The league schedules itself — no more chasing people for a kickoff time.

Commissioners set the advance and scheduling windows; every matchup gets its own Discord thread, and the two owners agree a kickoff time in it. Agree the time in the thread and FranchiseHuddle picks it up and locks it in — you never have to enter it twice. Games still without one auto-ping both owners before the deadline.

Everything inside

Every capability & convenience.

Commissioner-set windows

Set the advance timer and the scheduling window — say a 48-hour advance with a 24-hour window to lock a time — and every matchup inherits it.

A thread per matchup

Every game on the slate gets its own Discord thread with both owners pinged — not just the ones between two claimed teams, so a week never comes up with holes in it.

It reads the thread

Agree a time in Discord and FranchiseHuddle takes it from the conversation and locks it in, then says so in the thread. Nobody has to re-enter in the app what they already typed in chat.

Availability, submitted

Both owners in a matchup drop the times that work for them, so the overlap is obvious instead of buried in a group chat.

Lock in a kickoff

Pick a time inside the window and it's locked — the schedule shows the agreed kickoff with a clear locked-in marker and icon.

Auto-ping the stragglers

Any game still without a locked time before the deadline pings both owners on its own — in-app and in Discord — so nobody has to play secretary.

Nudges check before they nag

Before it chases anyone, FranchiseHuddle pulls the latest results — so it never @-mentions two people about a game they finished an hour ago.

Threads close themselves

When a game finals, its thread is archived and locked. The channel list stays the current week, not a scroll of finished matchups.

On the schedule for everyone

Locked times show up on the league schedule with an icon, so the whole league knows when every game is being played.

No more chasing

The nagging that kills leagues — "did you two set a time yet?" — happens automatically, and only when it actually needs to.

The whole season, filtered

A season view of the schedule, filtered to played, unplayed, or forfeits by side — with every club's record beside its name.

The nagging is the job nobody wants

The nagging is the job nobody wants

Every commissioner knows the grind of DMing two owners to agree on a kickoff. FranchiseHuddle opens a thread per matchup, turns availability into a locked time inside the window you set, and pings the stragglers itself — so the schedule fills in without you chasing anyone.

It reads the thread you were already using

Owners settle games in chat — "thurs 9pm et works" — and then never touch the app, so the game still shows as unscheduled and everyone gets chased about it. FranchiseHuddle reads the thread, takes a time it can be sure of, locks it in, and posts to say so with a one-click way to change it. The conversation you were already having becomes the schedule.
