Run a tournament

Quick answer

Pick single-elimination or round-robin over your claimed teams, record results as games are played, and the bracket advances and announces the champion itself.

Every league wants a playoff or a side-bracket eventually. FranchiseHuddle lets you run a real tournament out of the league you already have — no spreadsheet nobody trusts.

Claimed teams only

Tournaments run over the teams your members have actually joined and claimed. Only real owners compete — no randoms, no CPU teams padding the bracket, no empty seeds. The field is the people who’ll actually show up and play.

Pick a format

  • Single-elimination bracket — auto-seeded, with byes handled for you, so an odd number of entrants just works. No manual bracket math.
  • Round-robin — everyone plays everyone, and FranchiseHuddle keeps the tournament standings current as results come in.

Create a tournament

  1. Open the tournaments area in your league dashboard at app.franchisehuddle.app.
  2. Choose the format — bracket or round-robin.
  3. Pick the claimed teams that are entering, and let it seed the field.
  4. Kick it off — the kickoff announces itself to your Discord.
  5. Enter each result as games are played; the bracket or table advances itself.
  6. When it’s decided, the champion is announced to Discord automatically.

A real bracket view

The whole tournament renders as a live bracket, so every entrant can see their path to the title at a glance. It stays current as you record results — no side spreadsheet, no manual updating.

Playoffs, a preseason cup, a bowl bracket between rivals — run it inside the league your members already live in, not a new tool. The bracket builds itself; you just record who won.

Your league is two minutes from running itself.
