If sync stops (often after an EA password change), just re-run the connect flow with a fresh sign-in. Your league, history and settings are untouched.
Normally you connect EA once and never think about it again — FranchiseHuddle refreshes its tokens on its own. Once in a while, though, an EA login can fully expire (for example, if you change your EA password, or EA invalidates old sessions). When that happens, sync pauses until you reconnect.
Signs your connection has gone stale
- The site or Discord stops updating even though you’ve advanced.
- Your league dashboard shows the EA connection as expired or needing attention.
- A manual sync fails with a connection or authentication error.
How to reconnect
- Open the EA connection / sync setup in your league dashboard at app.franchisehuddle.app.
- Start the connection flow again — you’ll be sent to EA’s sign-in page.
- Sign into EA, get redirected, and copy the full URL EA hands back.
- Paste that URL into FranchiseHuddle and submit.
- Confirm you’re reconnecting the same franchise, and let it run a fresh sync.
Reconnecting is exactly the same flow as connecting the first time. Your league, history and settings are untouched — you’re just handing FranchiseHuddle a fresh set of read tokens.
Changed your EA password recently? That’s the most common reason a login goes stale. Just re-run the connect flow with the new sign-in and you’re back.
If reconnecting doesn’t stick
