Propose and vote on trades

Quick answer

Build an offer, get the other owner’s consent, and the deal posts to Discord with approve/veto buttons. Every trade is logged with dates.

Trades on FranchiseHuddle happen in daylight. You propose a deal, both sides consent, and the league gets to weigh in — no shady one-sided edits, no cold DMs nobody else sees.

Propose a trade

  1. Open the trades area in the app at app.franchisehuddle.app.
  2. Choose the team you want to deal with and build the offer — who’s going each way.
  3. Send it. The other owner has to agree before it goes anywhere — trades are mutual-consent by design.
  4. The proposal is logged with its proposal date, and once decided, its decision date — so the timeline of every deal is on the record.

The league votes in the open

Once both sides consent, the proposed trade posts to Discord with approve / veto vote buttons, so the league weighs in right there instead of in a side channel. Votes and history make lopsided or collusive deals obvious — the league polices itself, in the open.

The trade block

You can also signal who you’re willing to move by putting players on the trade block, so deals start from real intent instead of blind DMs. Every completed trade is logged in the trade history, so the blockbuster that reshaped the league is remembered.

The fastest way to poison a league is a trade nobody voted on. Proposing in the open, with mutual consent and a league vote, keeps deals fair and keeps the drama down.
