From your dashboard, authorize the FranchiseHuddle bot on your server and let it build its channel hub. Give it the permissions it asks for.
The Discord hub is where the league actually happens. Installing it means the bot builds and maintains a set of channels for you, then keeps them fed with scores, matchups and recaps.
Before you start
- You need a Discord server for your league (or admin rights on one you want to use).
- You need permission to add a bot and manage channels on that server — the bot creates its own channel hub.
- Your FranchiseHuddle league should already exist and, ideally, be connected to EA.
Install the bot
- In your league dashboard at app.franchisehuddle.app, open the Discord / integrations area.
- Start the Discord install — you’ll be sent to Discord to authorize the FranchiseHuddle bot.
- Choose the server you want the hub on, and approve the permissions it asks for.
- Back in FranchiseHuddle, confirm the server is linked to your league.
- Let the bot build its channel hub — it creates the category and channels automatically.
What happens next
Once installed, the bot manages an auto-built category of channels, posts the latest scoreboard and matchups, and starts answering slash commands. Your members can run /join, /claim and /link to connect themselves to their teams and accounts.
Give the bot the permissions it asks for. It needs to manage channels because building and maintaining the weekly channel hub is a core part of what it does — that’s the automation you’re installing.
The auto-posting hub is a paid feature
The self-updating Discord hub — auto-created weekly channels and auto-posted scores and recaps — is part of the paid automation. On free you can still install and use the bot’s commands; the hands-off posting switches on with paid. See Billing & Plans for what’s included.
