On paid, FranchiseHuddle polls EA on a schedule — just advance your franchise as normal. On free, the commissioner runs the sync by hand.
The whole reason FranchiseHuddle exists is so nobody has to press “sync” after every advance. Once you’re connected, the data keeps itself current.

Hands-off, on a schedule (paid)
On a paid league, FranchiseHuddle polls EA on its own on a regular cadence. There are no manual imports, no exports to a spreadsheet, and nothing to paste. When you advance your franchise, the next scheduled sync picks up the new week — scores, rosters, stats, standings and the schedule — and the site and Discord update themselves.
What each sync brings in
- Scores and box scores from every completed game.
- Rosters and depth charts with ratings, ages, dev traits and contracts.
- Standings and records, recomputed every time.
- The schedule, past and upcoming.
- Transactions — signings and cuts — which feed the free-agency recap.
Manual sync (free)
On the free tier the site is fully live, and the commissioner can trigger a sync by hand. There’s a cooldown between manual syncs to keep things sensible. The difference between free and paid is simply who does the clicking: on free it’s you, on paid it’s automatic.
What kicks off after a sync
A sync isn’t just data. Once new results land, the downstream automation fires: standings and power rankings recompute, the Discord scoreboard posts, weekly matchup channels open, AI recaps and free-agency wraps write themselves (on paid), and the integrity watchdog compares the new rosters to the last sync.
Advance your franchise like you always would. That’s the only “sync” step you need — FranchiseHuddle takes it from there.
Timing expectations
Because sync runs on a cadence rather than the instant you advance, there can be a short gap between finishing a week in your franchise and seeing it on the site. That’s normal. If a sync seems much further behind than usual, check the sync troubleshooting guide.
