EA connection failed or expired

Quick answer

Re-run the connect flow, paste the full redirect URL, and use the EA account with access to the right franchise. Redirect URLs are single-use.

If connecting EA fails, or sync suddenly stops, the fix is almost always to re-run the connection flow. Work through these.

The connection won’t complete

  • Paste the full URL. After you sign into EA, copy the entire redirect URL from your address bar — don’t trim the end. A partial URL is the number-one reason a connection fails.
  • Use the right EA account. Sign in with the account that actually has access to the franchise you’re connecting.
  • Pick the right franchise. If your account sees more than one, choose the online franchise your league plays.
  • Start fresh. If it’s stuck, restart the connect flow from your dashboard rather than reusing an old redirect URL — those URLs are single-use and time-sensitive.

It was working, then stopped

Tokens refresh automatically, but a login can fully expire — most often after you change your EA password, or if EA invalidates old sessions. When that happens, sync pauses until you reconnect:

  1. Open the EA connection setup in your dashboard at app.franchisehuddle.app.
  2. Re-run the connect flow: sign into EA, copy the full redirect URL, paste it back.
  3. Confirm you’re reconnecting the same franchise, and let a sync run.

Reconnecting is the same flow as the first connect, and it’s safe — your league, history and settings are untouched. You’re just handing FranchiseHuddle fresh read tokens.

Still failing?

If it won’t connect after a clean retry with the right account and the full URL, email [email protected] with your league name and we’ll help you get connected.
