Discord isn’t posting

Quick answer

Auto-posting needs three things: the paid tier, a sync that’s run, and the bot’s channel permissions. Check those in order.

If the bot isn’t posting scores or recaps, it’s usually one of three things: the tier, a sync, or permissions.

Check these first

  1. Is your league on the paid tier? The self-updating hub — auto-posted scoreboards, matchups and recaps — is part of the paid automation. On free, the bot answers commands but doesn’t auto-post. See Billing & Plans.
  2. Has a sync run? The bot posts after a sync brings in new results. No sync since your last advance means nothing new to post — check that a sync has run and the EA connection is healthy.
  3. Does the bot have permissions? The bot needs to manage channels and post messages. If its permissions were changed, or it was removed from channels, it can’t build the hub or post. Re-check its role and channel permissions.

Slash commands work but nothing auto-posts

That points squarely at the tier: commands are available broadly, but the automatic posting is the paid feature. If commands respond but scoreboards and recaps never appear on their own, unlock the automation in billing settings.

The bot went missing entirely

If the bot isn’t responding at all, it may have been removed from the server or lost its authorization. Re-run the Discord install from your league dashboard at app.franchisehuddle.app to reconnect it and let it rebuild the hub.

Quick triage: paid tier on → a sync has run → bot has channel permissions. That covers nearly every “Discord went quiet” case.

Still quiet?

If all three check out and the server’s still silent, email [email protected] with your league name and your server details.
